Topcular is the first firm of Topcu Family. At the end of 1800's Ali Reis Topcu had given up captainship and began food wholesale activities. By this way, TOPCU Family entered into commercial life at Rize. The fact that Dursun Topçu, who was also the first driver at Rize, staretd hardware - glass trade by the year 1923, improvement in commercial life has continued. The third generation namely; Mehmet, Yaşar, Ibrahim and Ismail Topcu brothers sold construction, hardware and electricity materials and produced and sold rubber shoes. In the year of 1957, the Family built up Mehmet-Yaşar Topçu and Brothers Company which name was laterly changed to Topçular Hırdavat Company. Then, the time had just come to move all business activity of the Family to Istanbul in 1966. The firm structure of Topçular Hirdavat was changed into a joint-stock company during the year of 1977.

While Turkey was living a big structural changes in its economy in 1980s; the Family decided to renew its structural body. For this aim; by also considering some sectoral differentiations under its internal body; in 1981, the Family established a new company called Reis Makina that has gained a rightful success in its related sector throuhgout the years. In the subsequent years of 1980; the trend of that organizational differentiation was maintained with the establishment of the new companies; Reis Yapi Company (focused on the business of garden tools, high pressure washing machines and chain saws); Pasifik Dekorasyon Company (based its activities on gift, promotion, decoration materials and kitchen utensils); Makser Tanitim Company (deals with the business of after-sale service of products as central service with its developed service network all over Turkey).

 Topcular's fundamental focus in 1990s was to enlarge its product range with the concept of quality. That policy; especially by adding the new products of Ameteur users into its product range; aimed to contiue the competitiveness and determinative role of Topcular in Turkish market. TOPCULAR's initiatives was such as a preliminary study to form the new concepts in the hardware sector of Turkey. With the assistance of the involvement into the new products of Ameteurs; we have created a new customer base known as Ameteur and Hobby users all over Turkey. Topcular's main business is generally based on the principle of Import & Marketing. All the goods imported are sold all over Turkey with an effective sales organization. We do not only aim to sell the products, but also take the aim of providing the best service with our salesmen by conducting face to face relations with our dealers.

Throughout the years, Topcular have basically operated with the aim of widening its product range that has been motivating and leading the end-users to become conscious to the techical hardware products in our market. Our product portfolio consists of a large variety of products such as Hand Tools, Pneumatic Tools, Electric Power Tools, Abrassives, Machines for working metal and wood, Locks, Precision Measuring Tools, Cutting Sets, Lifting Aparatus, Furniture Accessories and so on.

Our company has now been living into a rapid institutionalization process by targeting a more professional structural body. To do so, we have been employing 30 qualified person in our working team. For the time being; we have five departments with their differentiated job functions. These units are: Foreign Trade, Accounting, Marketing & Sales, Advertising, Warehouse and Despatching.
